My clock doesn't keep time when the power goes out
Magnasonic clock radios with Sure Set and Wake Up features will retain their settings in the event of a power outage.
This is possible due to the use of a back-up battery located on the underside of the clock. If this battery dies, the clock will no longer keep its settings.
When this happens, you can simply replace the battery with another 3V, CR2032 Flat Lithium Battery available anywhere batteries are sold.

Follow these steps to replace the battery:
- Loosen the screw using a small Phillips Head screwdriver.
- Remove the battery compartment panel.
- Remove and recycle the depleted battery. Replace with a new 3V, CR2032 Flat Lithium battery.
- Close the battery compartment and tighten the screw to secure the battery panel.
