Why is my subwoofer not working?
There are several reasons you may not be hearing audio from your subwoofer. The steps below should address the most common causes:
- Ensure the subwoofer is connected to power and the power switch is in the on, or auto position. If set to auto, test in the on position.
- Verify the volume is set to an audible level by adjusting the volume knob on the back of the subwoofer
- If the subwoofer is connected to an amplifier or receiver, check the settings to ensure it's set to a mode that uses the subwoofer and confirm if there are any subwoofer volume settings that need to be configured.
- Confirm the subwoofer audio cable is connected to the input on the subwoofer and an LFE or SUB OUT connection on the speakers or amplifier/receiver.
- Disconnect the power and audio cables, and reconnect them.
- Try a different cable.
