If you are experiencing difficulties with your remote control, we would recommend the following troubleshooting.

Install fresh new batteries in the remote.

Ensure there is no corrosion on the battery contacts.

Ensure the remote is pointed at the IR window.

Ensure nothing is blocking the signal between the remote and the device.

Move the device away from other wireless devices that may be causing interference. (wireless routers, microwaves etc). It may be necessary to unplug the modem or router from power for testing purposes.

Turn off devices that may be causing interference.

Watch the LED on the front of the remote with a smartphone camera, if the LED flashes when a button is pressed, the remote is working, the issue may be the sensor on the unit.
