Why do some Fluance turntables have 3 feet?

Some Fluance turntables such as the RT81+ and Reference Series (RT82, RT83, RT84, and RT85) have been designed with three feet/legs.

The reason for this is to reduce vibrations that may otherwise reach the stylus and cause rumbling or feedback.

When it comes to isolation, the less contact the feet make with the surface it's on, the less vibration reaches the turntable. The acorn shape of the feet also helps reduce the surface area of the feet making contact with the surface, further reducing vibrations.
