What speakers can I use with my turntable?

Fluance turntables include RCA audio outputs, allowing them to be connected to a range of speakers and amplifiers.

There are several factors to consider when selecting your speakers or amplifier:
  • Do you want Powered (no amplifier required) or Passive (amplifier required) speakers?
  • Do you have an amplifier or home theater receiver?
  • What size speakers do you need?
  • Do you need any other features on these speakers (Bluetooth, Aux input)?

For a great sounding easy-to-use setup, we recommend the Fluance Ai41 Powered Bookshelf Speakers which are available as a bundle with our Classic and Elite turntables.

If your turntable does not have an internal preamplifier (such is the case with our Reference series RT82-RT85), you will require an external preamplifier to boost the signal such as our PA10 High Fidelity Phono Preamp.

This setup will allow you to connect your turntable directly to the speakers via RCA without the need for a separate amplifier. If your turntable does not have an internal preamplifier, you will require an external preamplifier to boost the signal of the turntable for the speakers.

If you're an audiophile who wants more control over their audio settings and experience, pairing your turntable with an amplifier and  Signature Series HiFi Two-way Bookshelf Surround Sound Speakers is the option for you. This will allow you to choose how much power to feed your speakers and often include multiple inputs to connect other audio sources. In addition, some amplifiers have an internal preamp which will allow you to bypass the Classic and Elite preamplifiers.
