What material is used to make the turntable plinth?

Fluance® uses - High Mass MDF Wood (Medium Density Fiberboard) in all of our turntable plinths.


Why MDF?

Natural wood often has organic characteristics like knots, rings, and lines which can affect the way a turntable looks and sounds. In addition, natural wood increases the price of turntables dramatically.
