What are the speaker cabinets made of?

Fluance® uses Audio-grade MDF wood (Medium Density Fiberboard) in all of our speaker cabinets. All enclosures are internally braced for extra support and to ensure proper acoustics.

Why MDF?

Natural wood often has organic characteristics like knots, rings, and lines which can affect the way a speaker system looks and sounds. In addition, natural wood increases the price of speakers dramatically.
