The platter seems to wobble, what can I do?

Fluance turntable platters are made from rigid aluminum and acrylic, there should be little to no vertical motion in your platter. If it seems to be more than expected, you can try these steps to find the source.
  • Remove the platter from the spindle.
  • Inspect the platter mount and the collar of the platter to ensure there is no dust or debris between the turntable and the platter.
  • Use a level on the turntable and the surface it's placed on. If the turntable is not level it may appear to wobble.
  • Place the platter on a flat surface. Any wobble here may tell us that unlikely as it may be the platter could be warped.
  • If everything works as expected so far, try another record to ensure the record itself is not warped.
  • Ensure the bushing is tight on the bottom of the Acrylic platter. If loose, it can be tightened with a 3/4" socket.
If these steps don't resolve the wobble, please reach out to our Customer Experience team directly. We would love the opportunity to get you back to enjoying your records again!
