Is my cartridge/stylus riding too low?
There can be some variance in how low your cartridge will ride while playing a record.
As long as it's not touching the records and the tracking force is set correctly, it is working correctly.
If the stylus body touches the record's surface during playback, we recommend performing the tonearm setup again to confirm the tracking force is set as listed in the user manual and ensuring your records are not warped which can cause this to happen and can occur even on new records.
