How to Troubleshoot Fluance Ai40 Powered Bookshelf Speakers


No Power
  • Ensure the LED brightness has not been set to off by pressing LED Brightness on the Remote
  • Press the power button on the remote, or press the volume knob to ensure the speaker is turned on
  • Check that the power supply is connected to the back of the powered speaker and plugged into a wall outlet
  • Plug the power adapter into another outlet to confirm the speaker is receiving power
No Audio
  • Check the connections for your selected audio source
  • Confirm the volume on the source device is turned up if applicable
  • Ensure the speaker is powered on
  • Check that the power supply is connected to the back of the powered speaker and plugged into a wall outlet
No Audio from the left speaker
  • Check the connections for your selected audio source
  • Confirm the volume on the source device is turned up if applicable
  • Ensure the speaker is powered on
  • Check that the power supply is connected to the back of the powered speaker and plugged into a wall outlet
  • Confirm the left speaker is connected to the active right speaker using speaker wire, if the rubber insulation is touching the binding post, you may need to strip additional insulation using wire strippers.
