My transmitter or receiver is hot, is it overheating?
You can rest assured that it is normal for the transmitter or receiver to feel warm. In order to transmit Full HD content wirelessly, our devices must process a large amount of data in a small device. Due to this, the unit may run at warmer temperatures than other electronic devices.
We have designed the housing to provide proper ventilation and designed the electronic components to withstand temperatures up to 80°C. To ensure maximum performance from your Nyrius products, ensure both the Transmitter and Receiver are placed in well-ventilated areas that do not exceed 30°C.
We do not recommend installing these products in enclosed spaces such as closets or TV Wall Units.
If the transmitter or receiver does not have proper ventilation, it can cause the signal to drop out, or experience video or audio interference.
