NAVS500/501/502: My video is not transmitting
If you are not receiving video or audio, please attempt the following troubleshooting:
- Confirm both the transmitter and receivers are plugged into active outlets and are receiving power by checking for light from the LEDs.
- If the units will not power on or receive signal, press the standby button on the back of the unit. If unsuccessful, unplug both units for 10 seconds and then plug back in, the units may be stuck in standby mode
- Ensure the transmitter is properly connected to your source device's output; the receiver is connected to the input of your display; and the correct input is selected. Most TVs don't have an HDMI output, you cannot transmit from one TV to another.
- Try to connect the source and TV directly to one another to ensure there is not an issue with either one of your devices or the cable connections.
- Re-pair the transmitter and receiver by following the steps this article: NAVS500 (Home) / NAVS502 (Home+) Pairing Instructions
- For testing purposes please remove any other additional components in use such as splitters, audio receivers or signal converters as they may cause a delay in the signal causing it to time out.
- Try testing the units in the same room at a closer range but farther than 6 feet apart. It is also helpful if you are able to test this product at another location to rule out environmental interference.
- The Aries line of products can receive interference when sitting on top of any Blu-Ray, DVD, stereo receiver, cable receiver or satellite box due to then component materials interfering with the internal antennas.
- Ensure that the transmitter and receiver are not located in close proximity to a wireless router, as wireless signal can interfere with the Aries line of products.
