How to set up your Nyrius Aries Prime/Pro/Pro+ Wireless HD Transmitter and Receiver

How to set up your NPCS650 Nyrius Aries Pro+ Wireless HD Transmitter and Receiver

In this video, we’ll take you through the process of setting up your Aries Prime, Pro, or Pro+ transmitter and receiver for the first time.

The setup for these three transmitters is identical. The difference between the three products comes in the range.

The Aries Prime can transmit 30 feet, line of sight.
The Aries Pro can transmit 100 feet, line of sight.
The Aries Pro+ can transmit 165 feet, line of sight.

In the box you will find:
- Digital Wireless HD Transmitter
- Digital Wireless HD Receiver
- One AC Power Adapter
- HDMI Cable
- Transmitter USB Power Cable
- Right Angle HDMI Adapter
- Wall Mounting Kit
- Quick Start Guide

The Aries Prime, Pro, and Pro+ can work with any device with an HDMI connection, but we cannot guarantee it will function properly when used with an HDMI adapter. For this video, we will set these products up with a laptop.

For the best results, you should do the initial setup with the transmitter and receiver in the same room.

First, connect the receiver to power using the supplied power adapter. Then, connect the receiver to the television using the included HDMI cable.

Then, connect the transmitter to a powered USB port on your laptop, and the HDMI connection on your computer. You must be plugged into both the HDMI and USB ports. The right angle HDMI adapter can be used to hold the transmitter vertically.

In your laptop display settings, you may need to change the multiple display settings. To transmit what is on your laptop screen to the display, select CLONE or DUPLICATE these displays. You can also use the Extend option to create an extended desktop for a larger workspace.

Once everything is connected, the TV will find the correct resolution to display.
