How to Set up Your Aries Home Wireless HD Transmitter and Receiver

When you receive the product, the following will be included in the box:
  • Digital Wireless HD Transmitter
  • External IR Remote Extender
  • Digital Wireless HD Receiver with Built-in IR Remote Extender
  • Two AC Power Adapters
  • HDMI Cable
  • Wall Mounting Kit

    Your Aries Home can be used with any device with an HDMI output.

    For the purpose of this video, we’ll be setting these products up with a Cable Box.

    Product Setup:
    For the best results, you will want to power the transmitter and receiver on in the same room, allowing them to establish the signal. Once they’re connected, they can be removed from power and moved to their final locations.
     
  1. Once the transmitter and receiver are connected to power and have paired successfully, the Power LED on the receiver and link light on the transmitter will be solid.
  2. Once paired, connect the HDMI cable from the receiver to your TV and ensure the display is set to the correct HDMI input.
  3. Connect an HDMI cable from HDMI IN on your transmitter to your cable box.
  4. Once everything is connected, it may take a minute or two for the display to find the correct resolution. For a list of supported video resolutions, please refer to our specifications.

Infrared Extender:
To use the Infrared Extender to control your cable box remotely, connect it to your transmitter. The bulb should be placed two to four inches in front of the infrared sensor of the cable box, usually hidden behind a dark clear plastic cover. Point the remote control at the front of the receiver and it will control the cable box remotely, allowing you to change channels from another room.
