Why won't my tonearm go all the way down?
If you find that your tonearm will not lower completely, there are two possible solutions:
1. The tonearm is not balanced correctly. Ensure you have correctly set the tracking force of the tonearm, you can confirm by following this video: VIDEO: How Do I Balance the Tone Arm?
2. The tonearm bridge is not lowering enough when the cueing lever is dropped. You can adjust the height of the tonearm bridge by turning the adjustment screw found on the tonearm bridge as shown in the image below:
