Why do my records play too fast or too slow?
If you find your records are spinning too fast or too slow, you can try the following steps:
-
Confirm the correct playback speed has been selected for the record. The speed is usually listed on the label. Some full-size 12" albums may be designed to be played at 45 RPM.
-
Switch the speed selector to another setting and switch it back to the desired setting.
-
Confirm the transit screw is tightened all the way down so the turntable floats and doesn't scrape on the cabinet.
