FIRST TIME SET UP

The video below will walk you through the process of setting up the record player for the first time, as well as all of the other audio options such as Bluetooth, MP3 Recording, Radio, and CDs.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

How do I clean my records and stylus?

Over time, your records and stylus will collect dust and debris and you will need to clean them to prevent issues like skipping, popping, and crackling. You will need to use a stylus cleaning brush to keep the stylus clean and an anti-static carbon fiber brush to clean your records. You will want to clean your records before you play them even if they are brand new, they may have dust or debris from the inner sleeve, or from the pressing plant in the grooves.

When do I need a new stylus, where can I get one?
The jeweled stylus installed in your turntable at the time of purchase should last for up to 300 hours of playback with 33 1/3 RPM albums or 45 RPM ‘Singles’. If you are playing older 78 RPM records, which are made from a much harder material, the life expectancy of the stylus will be reduced. How do I keep my record player clean and working its best?
Keep the dust cover closed while records are not playing. This will prevent dust and debris from collecting on the components. Dust on the platter is easily transferred to records and will cause buildup on the stylus over time. If the turntable needs to be cleaned, protect the stylus using the included stylus guard, and use a soft dry lint-free cloth to wipe the dust away.
