CR35: How to Set the Time and Date
To set the time and date or verify the settings on your CR35 or CR35W, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the clock button (which is on the front in the upper left).
2. The year will start to flash.
3. To change the year, press the right or left arrow (<>) button along the front.
4. Once the correct year is flashing, press the Clock button again to advance to the next option which is the month and day.
5. The next option will be the month and day, so please be sure that its flashing.
6. Use the same (<>) to select the proper Month, then hit the clock button again and do the same with the day.
7. Hit the clock button again to advance to the next option which is the 12H(hour) or 24H time view.
8. Next, hit the clock again to advance to the time setting.
9. The hour will flash first.
10. Use those same right/left arrow buttons to change the hour. Once the proper hour is flashing on the screen, tap the clock button once more to select the proper minute.
11. Once completed, tap the clock button again one last time to save your preferences.
12. The proper time should now display on your clock display.
( Note: “PM” appears on the screen when the time is set to PM. Nothing will show on the screen for AM.)
Now that this is done, you will also want to be sure that the proper time zone is selected. To do that, follow these steps:
1. Turn the radio off. This will not work if the radio is on.
2. Press and hold the “TIMEZONE” button (the same button as the large Snooze button) until the time zone numbers start to flash.
3. Press the (<>) until your proper time zone appears on the display.
Time zones are as follows:
0 = Newfoundland time
1 = Atlantic Time
2 = Eastern Time (Default)
3 = Central Time
4 = Mountain Time
5 = Pacific Time
6 = Alaska Time
7 = Hawaiian Time
